      Another view of the cemetery. Front of obelisk: They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteouness as the stars forever and ever. Back of obelisk: Blessed ar those which die in the Lord..

      General Map Location: In the vicinity of 1680 Apple Road. The USGS Topographic Map depicts a grave in this location.

      This two grave cemetery is surrounded by an iron fence containing a tall obelisk, a shared monument for Rev. Norman and his wife. The individual inscriptions are on the sides of the obelisk. There are individual footstones.

      Caswell Co NC Deed Book 96 page 327 reserves .25 acres for the "Norman Grave yard".

      • Husband of Mary Leek Rucker Norman. From Caswell Co NC Heritage Book at 38:
        Alfred Norman was the second pastor of Leasburg Methodist Church in Leasburg, Caswell Co NC.
        1850 (Franklin Co VA): Alfred 45 clergyman, Mary 30, Anthony 6, William C. 4, Nathan B. 3, Joseph A. 1.
        1860 (Leasburg): Alfred 56 Clergyman MECS born in NC, ML 39, AH 16 (son), WC 13, NB (son) 12, AE 9, WF 7, SM 3 and MF (dau) 4 mos.
        1870 (Stoney Creek): Alford 66 [Minister of the Gospel born in Va owns real estate], Mary 49, William 23, Alford 19, Wilber 17, Susan 12, Henry 9 and Betsy 10.
        Son Nathan Bangs Norman 19 Aug 1848 to 10 Feb 1924 buried in Reidsville, NC.
