On 26 April 1994, Will and Audrey Heiser recorded 93 markers. The other 15 markers, for which the Corps recorded the names, were not found. There were no field stones visible. In the woods adjoining the cemetery on three sides, there were metal grave markers, without the cardboard inserts, which were used, probably, in lieu of the original field stones to mark the unknown graves. These markers were removed probably for the convenience of those persons mowing grass in the cemetery.

Mary Louise Gunter Williams said Irrena Clark's name is Savanna J. Goodwin Clark.
