1. Spivey, Barbara West   (b. 27 Aug 1938 - d. 14 Feb 2018)
[Cremation]. Wife of Ralph Spivey. Barbara West Spivey, 79, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at her home. She was born the daughter of the late Vance and Gladys Hall West. She retired from Cumberland County Schools after 30 years of service. Barbara was an active member of Highland Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Presbyterian Women, Circle #5 and the Leighton McKeithen Sunday School Class. She was honored to receive a Distinguished Lifetime Membership from the Women of the Church. Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years Ralph Spivey of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Melissa Spivey of Greensboro; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Paul Phillips of Lillington; 4 grandchildren, Will and Carter Spivey, Ben and Ryleigh Phillips; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sandra West of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Ann Patterson of Roseboro. Arrangements were handled by O'Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home of Lillington, NC. A memorial service was conducted at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC.
