      Well maintained and in use, this cemetery has 126 legibly marked graves. Canvassed by Lucille Glenn (1982).

      Notes from a survey done about 1990: Gorman Baptist Church was organized in 1916 at its present site. Eight years later a two year old child, Thomas Edward Tilley, was the first to be buried behind the church. Today there are over 70 graves. Today the church has grown into a big building including a child care center. Small children play inside a fence next to the graves, beginning and ending of life represented here.
