      Directions: From intersection of Main Street and Bethania-Rural Hall Road in Bethania, travel about 0.25 mile east. Church and cemetery are on the south side of road.

      This historic African Methodist Episcopal church is over 100 years old. The cemetery has been in use for a longer time but all of the original 19th century markers are gone. A "first burial" marker notes an 1847 burial, but most of the existing markers are from the past 50 years.
