 Gaster, Jacob Morris (b. 16 Apr 1765 - d. 16 Dec 1855) Husband of Nancy Dye Gaster. Jacob Gaster was originally buried on land formerly owned by his father Henry Gaster with only fieldstones marking the grave. In 2007 as part of the Lee County Centennial Celebration his remains were moved to the Lee County Courthouse Lawn as he was the only known Revolutionary participant from Lee County. A military marker for Jacob can also be found in the Gaster Cemetery at Carolina Trace Golf Community but his body is actually buried in the lawn at the Courthouse. Jacob and Nancy had 6 children
