      Coordinates: 36d 05m 17.7s N; 79d 07m 00.5s W Click here for Online Maps

Survey - This cemetery was surveyed December 6, 1974. Milton Forsyth visited the site in February 2005. He revised the location directions.

Graves, Unmarked - There were 13 unmarked graves; 7 of which were identified By Mr. Clyde W. Whitted, Sr.

Status [1974] - The Vincent Family Cemetery is in a fairly dense woodland of pines. There are 13 graves, rough stones and depressions, in 2 rows. The western row contains 11 graves. A faded funeral marker at 1 grave reads only 'Aged 81'. The eastern row contains 2 graves. Mr. Clyde W. Whitted, Sr., of Hillsborough, has identified 7 of the 13 graves (names appear in this cemetery listing).

Status Update [2005] - The cemetery is in the woodland behind the former location of "The Old Whitted House," about 50 ft off the NE corner of the Whitted Forest Apartments on Holiday Park Road, which runs north from the Hwy US 70 Bypass. It is adjacent on the NW to the Whitted-Grady-Obie Family Cemetery (#215). The cemetery was difficult to discern. It may have been in the area vandalized and desecrated like the adjacent cemetery, apparently by the residents of the apartment complex. The cemetery is in the Orange County GIS system as PIN 9865-50-4994.
