825    HAZELTON, BENJAMIN F. FAMILY

Location - west side of Boss McLawhorn Road (SR 1916), 0.5 mile south of its intersection with (SR 1915), north of the Craven-Pitt County line.

Survey compiled by William "Bill" B. Kittrell in 2007.

Turn beside a house and travel about 700 feet, then turn left on a path into the woods about 200 feet. On the right are two cedar stumps. This is the location of the cemetery, according to Joseph F. Price. There were large wooden markers that burned during a fire. This land was purchased by Dr. John Hazelton, father of Benjamin, from Joel Patrick in 1818. Possibly, Dr. Hazelton and others are buried here. Surveyed by Stan Little.

  1. Hazelton, Benjamin F.   (b. 1806 - d. 1864)
