Location - Off Brookfall Diary Road, Elkin, Surry Co., NC.

Directions: From the intersection of Hwy 21 Bypass and NC Hwy 21 business at Old Wall-Mart location, take left onto Brookfall Dairy Road (SR# 1157) that runs parallel with north side of Old Wall-Mart store and follow that road for .6 mile to a pasture gate on RH side of Brookfall Road and park at that gate. Open gate or climb over the fence and proceed in a north westerly direction toward a group of large cedar trees in the pasture up a hill approximately 150 to 200 yds from the gate and the cemetery is under those trees.

Occupants: Cassie B. Gentry (b. 02-13-1832, d. 11-03-1856) w/o L.D. Burcham. Married L.D. Burcham (03-25-1856) Cassie probably died during child birth, Rebecca gentry (b. ?, d. ?), Wiley Gentry (b. 03-10-1805, d. 05-27-1878), another partially legible marker has last name Gentry and (b. 1805, d. 1878). Cattle have not been kind to the markers and most of them are broken or pushed over and laying on the ground. Owner is possibly considering replacing the markers.
