      • [Cremation]. Lewis Bragg Cox, Jr., 63, of Cary, died July 3 at Transitions Hospice of Raleigh. He was born in Sanford, North Carolina and was predeceased by his father, Lewis Bragg Cox, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Williams Cox , Sister Linda Marshburn (Josh) of Sanford, and Partner, Jennifer Carr Talbot of Cary. He is also survived by 2 nieces, Lori Marshburn and Michelle Bennell (children Sipriana Neagu, Ramsten Neagu and Dillon Bennell), Jennifer's son, Bradley Carr Prosser (Wendy Aves) and family dog, Walter. Bragg attended NC State and UNC and enjoyed keeping up with his dorm friends from Penthouse Owen throughout his life. He retired from Lowes, Inc., where he worked in the Contractor Sales Division, and was employed by Prevent Blindness North Carolina as a retinal screener for community health centers and free clinics. Bragg was a member of the Cary Central Rotary Club for 25 years, where he served as Club President and Assistant District Governor. He spent many years enjoying the study and collection of North Carolina pottery, duck decoys and folk art. Bragg also enjoyed participating in the Raleigh Dart League on team, "What's The Point", with coffee shop friends. In recent years, Bragg and Jennifer enjoyed expanding their horizons for both new food locations and travel adventures. He was very happy with the life he lived. A Memorial service was held at First Presbyterian Church, 112 S. Salisbury Street, in Raleigh. Arrangements were handled by Cremation Society of the Carolinas.
