      Location - on Martin Pond Road in Wake County, NC. Martin Pond Road runs between New Poole Road and the Railroad tracks at Eagle Rock. From Poole Road it's about 1.9 miles on the right.

      Directions: From eastbound I-87/US64/US264, take exit 13 onto Wendell Blvd/US64. Turn right onto Wendell Blvd.
      Then in 0.3 mile, turn right onto Eagle Rock Rd. After 1.1 mile, turn left to stay on Eagle Rock Rd., just after the railroad crossing.
      Then in 0.2 mile, turn right into the parking lot of the church. The cemetery is in the woods on the right of, and slightly behind, the church building.
      If possible, let the church leaders know you are there.
      The cemetery is not associated with the church and is on private property belonging to the heirs of Elmira Broadwell Rhodes.

      This cemetery is located inside a pasture that had an Electric Fence. The cemetery is enclosed by wrought iron fencing.


  1. Broadwell, (Emily) Amelia Nichols   (b. 1890 - d. Mar 1856)
      • Field Stone. Wife of Freeman Broadwell Sr.
  2. Broadwell, Freeman, Sr.   (b. 1791 - d. After 1856)
      • Husband of Amelia Nichols Broadwell. Field Stone which is located outside the cemetery fence.
  3. Rhodes, Elmira Broadwell   (b. 23 Mar 1841 - d. 29 Oct 1915)
      • Standing marble marker, fallen. Wife of William M. Rhodes. [transcribed from tombstone, note the stone however only has the inscription "Elmira wife of William Rhodes"; however, we know it is Elmira Broadwell Rhodes.
  4. Rhodes, W. M.   (b. 28 Jul 1833 - d. 5 Oct 1902)
      • Standing marble Marker. Husband of Elmira Broadwell Rhodes. [the inscription indeed says W. M. Rhodes; however we know it is William Rhodes from genealogy and from Elmira's stone.]
