Directions: From downtown Raleigh; Go West on Hillsborough Street (NC 54) to I-440, the Outer Beltline , go Southwest toward Apex, 2.7 miles. Exit I-440, US 1 via ramp at sign reading "Exit 1 I-440/I-40/US-64 E. Outer Beltline to Durham, Rocky Mount and US-70" and go Southwest 1.2 miles. Turn left on Walnut Street and go Southeast for 0.2 mile. Turn right on Piney Plains Road and go approximately 1.4 miles to Tryon Road and Piney Plains intersection. Barely noticeable in the back yard of a house sitting at this intersection, next door to Piney Plains Christian Church, is this small family cemetery, which is no longer in use.
