352    PRIVETTE FAMILY (Shearin Rd.)

      Location - off Shearin Rd (SR-1318) about 0.5 mile from Eaton Ferry Rd (SR-1345).


      Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on Hwy 158 E Bus, travel 9.9 miles to Vaughan and turn left onto SR 1345 (Eaton Ferry Rd). Travel 0.1 mile and turn right onto SR 1318 (Shearin Rd) bearing left in the sharp curve. Travel 0.5 mile to the end of the pavement. The abandoned cemetery is on the right near the road. The cemetery was not found in 2005. Race-White.

      Note: The Privettes were from Concord, N. C. and ran a store in Vaughan about 1916.
