392    THORNTON, FRANCIS A. FAMILY (Peete Farm Rd.)

Location - off Peete Farm Rd (SR-1307) about 1 mile from Wise-Five Forks Rd (SR-1306).


Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on N Main St, travel 0.2 mile and turn left onto Ridgeway St and Hwy 158 W Bus/401 N. Travel 4.1 miles to Norlina and turn right onto Hwy 1/401 N. Travel 4 miles to Wise Baptist Church and turn right onto SR 1306 (Wise-Five Forks Rd). Travel 4.5 miles and turn left onto SR 1307 (Peete Farm Rd). Travel 2 miles and turn right at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church onto a gated road. Travel 0.2 mile and turn right onto a dirt road. Travel 0.8 mile and bear left at the fork. The cemetery enclosed by a wire-link fence is 100 yards on the right near the old homeplace. One or more unmarked graves were noted. Race-White.
