Location - off Wise-Five Forks Rd (SR-1306) about 3 miles from Hwy 1 N/401 N.
Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on N Main St, travel 0.2 mile and turn left onto Ridgeway St and Hwy 158 W Bus/401 N. Travel 4.1 miles to Norlina and turn right onto Hwy 1 N/401 N. Travel 4 miles to Wise Baptist Church and turn right onto SR 1306 (Wise-Five Forks Rd). Travel 3 miles and turn left onto a farm path. The abandoned cemetery is on the left approximately 0.3 mile from SR 1306. (Gid Thornton was the last known person to be buried in this cemetery.) Race-African American.
