Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 N and NC Hwy 89 W in Mt. Airy, go .7 mile to the stop light in Toast. Turn left on S. Franklin Rd and go .4 mile. Cemetery is on the right at Calvary Drive.

Jesse Lafayette Bunker, son of Chang and Adelaide Bunker, is buried here. He was born April 7, 1861 and died June 9, 1909. Fred M. Bunker is also buried here. He was born May 10, 1886 and died Nov 16, 1966.

The property card for 5010-16-93-6303 has never had a deed reference, because there isn't one.
Going forward Book 29, Page 91 will be on the card.
The cemetery is one-half acre excepted from 98 acres conveyed per Book 29, Page 91 (1893).
It would appear the female grantors; Ida B. Muse, Mollie W. Hogan, and Emma Bunker inherited the 98 acres from their mother, Mary Jane Cranford. Note the oldest grave is a daughter of W.E. and M.J. Cranford. Per SCROD, she was Mary J. Davis.
Also, buried there is Jesse Lafayette. He was the husband of Emma R. Davis Bunker. Fred Bunker was their son.
I read that Jesse was killed by a lightning strike.
